Even an iota of expectation can destroy your Himalayan-high ecstasy.
When we meditate, we must not expect anything from our meditation. God is meditating in and through us. The very fact that we want to meditate should please us. Millions of people are not meditating; the wallowing in the pleasure of ignorance. How is it that out of millions and billions of people, we are ready to meditate? God has chosen us. The very fact that we are meditating means that we have been blessed by God. Here we have to know that He who has given us the capacity to meditate will also give us the result. But there is something called God's choice Hour. Just because we started meitating, we cannot expect peace, light and bliss overnight.
God is ready to spring a surprise
Every day in my aspiration-life
If I renounce my expectation-mind
Once and for all.
Chiar si o asteptare cat de mica poate distruge extazul inalt cat Himalaia pe care-l aveti.
Atunci cand meditam, nu trebuie sa asteptam nimic de la meditatia noastra. Dumnezeu mediteaza in si prin noi. Simplul fapt ca meditam ar trebui sa ne multumeasca. Milioane de oameni nu mediteaza; ei se complac in placerea ignorantei. Cum se face ca din milioane si miliarde de oameni, noi suntem pregatiti sa meditam? Dumnezeu ne-a ales. Simplul fapt ca meditam inseamna ca am fost binecuvantati de Dumnezeu. Trebuie sa stim ca cel care ne-a dat capacitatea de a medita ne va oferi si rezultatul. Dar exista ceva care se numeste Ora aleasa a lui Dumnezeu. Doar pentru ca am inceput sa meditam, nu putem sa asteptam pacea, lumina si beatitudinea peste noapte.
Dumnezeu este gata sa ofere o supriza
In fiecare zi din viata mea de apiratie
Daca renunt la mintea-asteptare
Odata pentru totdeauna.
