The ego and the soul - Egoul și sufletul

The motto of the ego is: ”Possess everything that you see, possess everybody that you know.”. The motto of the soul is: ” Let go of everything that you have and everything that you are.”
The ego is telling us that by possessing those around us, by possessing this world, by possessing the whole universe we will be happy. 
The soul is telling us that by giving up everything we will discover not only what we really are: happiness but also that everything that we let go is already inside us. We have become one with the entire existence.
The path of the ego leads us to frustration and suffering. The path of the soul is our real guide, taking us to what we are all looking for: eternal delight. 

Motto-ul egoului este: „Posedă tot ceea ce vezi, posedă-i pe toți cei ce-i cunoști.” Motto-ul sufletului este: „Renunță la tot ceea ce ai și la tot ceea ce ești.”
Egoul ne spune că posedându-i pe cei din jurul nostru, posedând lumea, posedând întregul univers, vom fi fericiți. 
Sufletul ne spune că renunțând la tot, nu doar că vom descoperi ceea ce suntem cu adevărat: fericire ci deasemenea vom realiza că toate lucrurile la care am renunțat se află deja în noi. Am devenit una cu întreaga existență. 
Calea egoului ne conduce catre frustrare și suferință. Calea sufletului este adevăratul nostru ghid, ducându-ne la ceea ce noi toți căutăm: bucuria eternă.
