The fruits of action

Do not think of the result. Your sincere effort to serve God is what counts most. That in itself is the greatest achievement. 

”You have the right to action but not to the fruits thereof.” This is the message of Bhagavad-Gita. The fruits of action come either in the form of success or in the form of failure. But neither success nor failure is our ultimate aim. Our aim is progress. Today's success will pale into insignificance tomorrow. If we take life as a song of gradual progress, then life is a constant satisfaction. But is we see it in the terms of success or failure, then immediately our patience will be exercised. Today we do not get one kind of success; tomorrow we try to get another kind of success. And we try to achieve this success by hook or by crook, using any means-foul or fair-because all we want is something to satisfy our immediate need. But our immediate need is not our eternal need. Our eternal need is for progress.

Patience from below

And Compassion from above

Can and will do the impossible

Easily 

Nu vă gândiți la rezultat. Ceea ce contează cel mai mult este efortul vostru sincer de a-L servi pe Dumnezeu. Aceasta in ea insasi este cea mai mare realizare. 

”Aveți dreptul sa actionati dar nu și sa pretindeti rezultatele acțiunii.” Acesta este mesajul din Bhagavad Gita. Fructele acțiunii se pot prezenta sub forma succesului sau eșecului dar nici succesul și nici eșecul nu sunt scopul nostru ultim. Acesta este progresul. Succesul câștigat astăzi va deveni nesemnificativ mâine. Dacă considerăm viața ca pe cântecul unui progres constant, atunci viata este o satisfactie continua. Dar dacă o înțelegem în termeni de succes și eșec, ea ne va pune răbdarea la încercare. Căci iată că astăzi nu vom obține succesul dorit iar mâine vom tinde să obținem un altul. Și vom încerca oricare ar fi prețul, prin orice mijloace- oneste sau nu- căci tot ceea ce vrem este să ne satisfacem nevoile imediate. Dar nevoile noastre imediate nu sunt necesitatea noastră eternă. Necesitatea noastră eternă este progresul. 

Plantele eșecului de astăzi

 Vor crește mâine în arbori ai succesului. 

Răbdarea venită de jos 

Și compasiunea venită de sus 

Pot cu ușurință să îndeplinească imposibilul 

Și o vor face.
